  • What is a balanced body? How do we work towards one?

  • How muscles work

  • 4 types of strength. How to build and use in yoga.

  • 2 types of stretching. How this affects everything, everywhere.

  • Cultivating a functional body on and off the mat.

  • Balancing effort and ease. Why it's essential for mind and body.

FUNCTIONAL BREAKDOWN - 25 min

​

  • ​One pose at a time, we find, feel, learn, and ingrain the process of building these new types of strength and flexibility.

FLOW TIME - 25 min

  • Flow to music:

    • First, guided rounds will focus on what we’ve learned. I will cue examples of what to focus on as another opportunity to practice. 

    • Then, self-exploration rounds (I pick the pose, you pick the focus)
